Mate Sound The Pump

A wonderful rare plaque in classic Sunderland lustre colouring. Very heavily potted with an iconic transfer. Unusually, the transfer has been printed upside down and the holes, for hanging, are at the bottom of the plaque, superb.

Circa 1840-60

Approx 9 inches (230mm) width.

In good condition throughout, with minor nibbles and paint loss.
